The cover letter is not being generated. What should I check?

Cover letter generation requires an active internet connection and uses the Google Gemini AI API. If generation fails:

  • Check your internet connection - the App needs to reach our backend server.
  • Tap Retry - transient server errors usually resolve in a few seconds.
  • Make sure you have a resume/CV set up - cover letters require CV data.
  • Check your Unlimited status - free accounts have a limit on AI operations.
  • If errors persist, contact us at support@nevyron.com with the error message shown.
How do I import a job listing into the App?

There are two ways to import a job:

  1. Built-in browser - tap "Browse Jobs", navigate to any job portal, find a job, and tap the Import button. Gemini will automatically extract the job details.
  2. Share Sheet - browse jobs in Safari or another app, use the iOS/Android Share function and select JobSnap.
How do I change the app language?

Go to Settings → Preferences → App Language and choose from 11 supported languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Greek, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Hindi.

Cover letters are automatically generated in the language of the selected locale.

How do I delete my account and all my data?
  1. Open the App and go to Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  3. Confirm - this action is permanent and cannot be undone

Alternatively, email us at support@nevyron.com and we will manually delete your data within 30 days.

What data is stored in the cloud?

Cloud (Firestore) stores: account details, imported job listings, application statuses, generated cover letters, profile information, and CV text.

Stored locally only: PDF files of your resume versions.

How do I restore my "Unlock Unlimited" purchase?
  1. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
  2. Go to the Paywall / Unlock screen within the App.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases.

My CV or resume file shows "File no longer available". What happened?

PDF files are stored locally and can become unavailable after reinstalling the App. Use Import PDF in the Resume Versions screen to re-upload the file. Your resume text for AI generation is preserved in the cloud.

Is the App available offline?

Yes - the App uses a local-first database (Hive) so your job list, notes, and status updates are always available offline. AI features, importing from URLs, and cloud sync require an internet connection.
