Cover letter generation requires an active internet connection and uses the Google Gemini AI API. If generation fails:
- Check your internet connection — the App needs to reach our backend server.
- Tap Retry — the error message shows a "Retry" button. Transient server errors usually resolve in a few seconds.
- Make sure you have a resume/CV set up — go to your Profile and ensure your CV text or a resume version is saved. Cover letters require CV data to personalise the letter.
- Check your Unlimited status — free accounts have a limit on the number of AI operations. Unlock Unlimited to remove all limits.
- If errors persist, contact us at support@nevyron.com with the error message shown.
There are two ways to import a job:
- Built-in browser — tap the "Browse Jobs" button in the App to open the in-app browser. Navigate to any job portal (LinkedIn, Indeed, XING, StepStone, etc.), find a job, and tap the Import button at the bottom of the screen. Gemini will automatically extract the job details.
- Share Sheet — if you're browsing jobs in Safari or another app, use the iOS/Android Share function and select JobSnap from the share sheet. The job URL will be imported and processed automatically.
After importing, the job appears in your "My Jobs" list. You can then open it and tap Generate Cover Letter whenever you're ready.
You can change the app language in two places:
- Settings → Preferences → App Language — tap the dropdown and choose from 11 supported languages.
- Profile tab → App Language — same setting, accessible from your profile.
The app supports: English, German (Deutsch), French (Français), Spanish (Español), Turkish (Türkçe), Greek (Ελληνικά), Chinese (中文), Russian (Русский), Portuguese (Português), Japanese (日本語), and Hindi (हिन्दी).
Cover letters are automatically generated in the language of the selected locale.
To permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data:
- Open the App and go to Settings
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion — this action is permanent and cannot be undone
All your job applications, cover letters, profile data, and account information are permanently deleted from our servers (Firebase). Local CV files on your device are removed when you uninstall the App.
Alternatively, email us at support@nevyron.com and we will manually delete your data within 30 days.
The following data is stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore (linked to your account):
- Your account details (email, display name)
- Job listings you've imported and their details
- Application statuses and personal notes
- Generated cover letters
- Profile information (name, job title, skills)
- Resume/CV text (the extracted text from your PDFs)
The following is stored locally on your device only (not in the cloud):
- PDF files of your resume versions

If you've reinstalled the App or switched to a new device and your Unlimited access isn't showing:
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account that was used for the original purchase.
- Go to the Paywall / Unlock screen within the App.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
Your purchase will be verified with Apple or Google and restored automatically. No additional charge is made.
If restore doesn't work, contact us at support@nevyron.com with your Apple ID or Google email address and we will look into it.
PDF files for resume versions are stored locally on your device. They can become unavailable if:
- You reinstalled the App — local storage is cleared on uninstall.
- The App's local storage was cleared by the system.
To fix this: tap the resume version in the Resume Versions screen and use the Import PDF option to re-upload the file. Your resume text (used for AI cover letter generation) is preserved in the cloud and is not affected.
Yes — the App uses a local-first database (Hive) so your job list, notes, and status updates are always available offline.
However, the following features require an internet connection:
- Importing a job from a URL (requires fetching the webpage)
- Generating cover letters (requires the Gemini API)
- Syncing data to the cloud (Firebase Firestore)
- Signing in or creating an account
