How does the Magic Fridge scan work?

Take one clear photo of your open fridge or shelf. Gemini AI analyses the image, identifies every ingredient it can see, and immediately suggests recipes sorted by how many ingredients you already have. The first scan is always free.

Is the app free to download?

Yes. Magic Fridge Recipes & Planner is free to download on both the App Store and Google Play. You get one free Magic Fridge scan and full access to browse and save recipes. Pro unlocks unlimited AI scans and meal planning.

Does the app work without internet?

Your saved recipes, pantry, and meal plans are stored locally on your device. You can browse and cook offline. Internet is only needed for AI features (Magic Fridge scan, recipe generation) and importing recipes from URLs.

How do I restore my Pro subscription?

Open the app, go to Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase. If the issue persists, email hello@nevyron.com.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Magic Fridge → Cancel.
Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Magic Fridge → Cancel.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep Pro access until the period ends.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your Firebase account, all Firestore data, and local preferences. A confirmation alert is shown before deletion. This action cannot be undone.

Does Magic Fridge sell my data?

No. Your data is yours, stored on your device, never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used to train AI models. We monetise via Pro subscriptions only. Privacy policy →

The Magic Fridge scan isn't recognising my ingredients. What can I do?

Make sure the fridge light is on and the image is well-lit and in focus. Open the fridge door fully so items are clearly visible. If an ingredient is still missed, you can add it manually by tapping "Edit Ingredients" after the scan.
